About Imago Dei
Imago Dei means the image of God. It describes the foundational truth that every human being is created with inherent dignity, purpose, and worth because they reflect God’s likeness.
This identity comes before history, before sin, and before cultural labels. Sin may distort how that image is expressed, but it does not erase it.
Grace does not give humans value, it restores them to the truth of who they were created to be.
Understanding Imago Dei shifts life from striving to alignment. Identity becomes something received, not achieved. Authority becomes responsibility, not control. And stewardship becomes a faithful trust, not ownership.
At its core, Imago Dei calls humanity to live as reflections of God’s character, grounded in dignity, accountable in authority, and responsible in how we treat one another and the world entrusted to us.

These are not just ideas, they are the foundation of what it means to live as an Image Bearer of God.
-
Identity – We believe every person was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26). Your worth is not defined by culture, color, or circumstance, but by the truth that you carry His image. When you know who you are in Him, you can walk with confidence and clarity.
-
Dominion – God gave mankind the mandate to “be fruitful and rule” (Genesis 1:28). Dominion is not control over people, it is the authority to govern yourself, to overcome darkness, and to bring God’s order into every sphere of life. True dominion flows from humility and obedience to Christ.
-
Stewardship – Everything we have, our time, resources, gifts, and even the earth itself, belongs to God. He calls us to manage it faithfully (Matthew 25:21). Stewardship is about living wisely, protecting what has been entrusted to us, and building something lasting for the next generation.
