🔥 God Sees Every Tear: Finding Strength in Psalm 56

I want to talk to the ones who feel like they’ve been running. Running from pressure. Running from pain. Running from people who just don’t understand what God has placed inside of you.

That’s where David was in Psalm 56 - hunted, hated, and hiding in enemy territory. And yet, even while surrounded by lies and danger, he wrote words that remind us:

God sees, God hears, God cares.

“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” Psalm 56:8 (NLT)

Let that sink in. Every tear you’ve cried? He caught it. Every sleepless night? He recorded it. Not one moment of your suffering has gone unnoticed by your Father.

David wasn’t afraid to admit his fear. But he didn’t stop there. He declared trust.

“When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.” (v.3) “I praise God for what He has promised.” (v.10)

Even when the enemy twisted his words…Even when people plotted against him…Even when he was hiding in caves and foreign lands…

David remembered who he was—anointed, chosen, created in the image of God.And so are you.

🛡️ If you're in a season of running...

Let this be your reminder: God is on your side. No matter what it looks like. No matter how dark it feels. You were made in His image. You were made to walk in His light. And even when you slip, He’s the one who keeps your feet from falling.

“So now I can walk in your presence, O God, in your life-giving light.” - Psalm 56:13

💡 Imago Dei Reflection:

  • You are not your fear. You are your faith in motion.

  • You are not forgotten. You are fully seen, fully known, and fully loved.

  • You are not weak. You are walking through the fire—and coming out refined.

🕊️ So today, I just want to speak life over you: You are not the hunted. You are the held. Held by mercy. Held by grace. Held by the hands that count your every tear and promise you victory.

Stay rooted in who you are - Imago Dei. Made in His image. Marked by His love. Moving forward by faith.
